Welcome to the 16th Tabor – dance and music festival of Dom Tańca!
Tabor is an educational camp of traditional arts, organized yearly since 2002 in a village or a small town in the Polish countryside. The main idea behind it is to encourage learning traditional singing, dance and playing instrument right at source – directly from village masters or their faithful pupils of younger generation. A festival day is filled with varied workshops and on evenings one can immediately try out the acquired skills during the evening dances.
The 16th Tabor will be held – for a second time – in a hilltop village of Sędek, Świętokrzyskie region (click to see a clip from the last year edition). We've got immensely fascinated by the old local brass band repertoire and want to rescue it from oblivion. Come to help us!

The festival is hosted by two associations: Stowarzyszenie “Dom Tańca” from Warszawa and Stowarzyszenie To.pole from Kraków, with financial support of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland.
