Welcome to the 12th Tabor - dance and music festival of Dom Tańca!

Tabor is an educational camp of traditional arts, organized yearly since 2002 in a village or a small town in the Polish countryside (click to see pictures from previous editions). The main idea behind it is to encourage learning traditional singing, dance and playing instrument right at source – directly from village masters or their faithful pupils of younger generation. A festival day is filled with varied workshops and on evenings one can immediately try out the acquired skills during the evening dances.

Becejły z lotu ptaka

The 12th Tabor will be held – for a second time – in a charmingly situated village of Becejły, Suwalki region. It is here, at the North-Eastern edge of Poland, where the beautiful and unique tradition of Polish polyphonic singing has been preserved.

Our festival has been steadily growing. Therefore, to keep its educational character, we have decided to introduce participant limits in all the morning workshops (i.e. till 1.30PM ;-) ). Please, register early to have your place secured.

Hope to see you soon in Becejły!

Organizers

The festival is hosted by Stowarzyszenie “Dom Tańca” (The Dance-House Association) from Warszawa, with financial support of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland.
